How do I know that Generational Tutors is actually effective?
Our tutors are in the same learning environments as our clients. As young students currently in school, we know what it takes to properly teach various concepts to our peers. Many other tutoring companies found on the Internet offer tutors who are in their 30s and 40s and have not been in school in ten or more years. Their techniques of teaching are often outdated and not in line with the ever-changing core competency requirements.
What problem is the founder of Generational Tutors trying to solve?
Many students fail to find the correct help they need when they struggle with certain topics. Our team believes that every person can learn the most difficult concepts as long as they put aside sufficient time to study and become comfortable with the material.
Peer Tutoring Works!
"Students learn a great deal by explaining their ideas to others and by participating in activities in which they can learn from their peers. It is important to consider who are the 'peers' in peer learning. Generally, peers are other people in a similar situation to each other who do not have a role in that situation as teacher or expert practitioner. They may have considerable experience and expertise or they may have relatively little. They share the status as fellow learners and they are accepted as such. Most importantly, they do not have power over each other by virtue of their position or responsibilities.
